Number of Mongolian students to study in Russia to be augmented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa exchanged views on the Mongolia-Russia ties and cooperation when she met I.K.Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia, on October 30.
As of this year, 450 Mongolian students are studying in Russia with the governmental scholarships. The parties concurred to augment the number of students to 500 in the frameworks of the Russia-Mongolia middle-term strategic partnership program.
The Ambassador pointed out that his country is ready to cooperate in involving Mongolian teachers of secondary schools, universities and institutes in mid-career training on Russian language.
During the meeting, the parties shared views on exchanging a memorandum of understanding on cooperating in physical culture and sport and initialing it in near future.
