400kW renewable energy plant to be built in Nalaikh district

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The administration of Nalaikh district reported about ongoing constructional works in the district at the press conference titled ‘Open Ulaanbaatar’ organized by the Governor Office of the Capital city on December 19.

According to the district’s basic directives of socio-economic development for 2017, the district implemented 169 actions that were evaluated as sufficient by the citizens and Citizens Representatives Meeting.  

In the frame of the constructional works, a children’s hospital with 50 beds was opened with a non-refundable assistance of ‘Khangardi-Ulaanbaatar’ NGO and the Peace and Friendship Fund (PFF) of the People’s Republic of China. Moreover, the PFF is to contribute hospital equipment amounted to CNY 500 thousand. In addition, UNICEF’s program ‘A child-friendly community was implemented in the district, along with completing an unfinished building of ‘Palace for Family and Youth Development’.  

The district intends to implement 140 actions of five chapters in the basic directives to develop its socio-economy for 2018. For instance, it plans to construct 400kW renewable energy plant with the investment of the Republic of Korea.
