Pension of 21.2 thousand people increased by MNT 50 thousand each

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Government’s decision dated December 30, 2019, to increase pension around 21.2 thousand people by MNT 50 thousand takes effect today, January 1, 2020. Those people are qualified for early retirement depending on the number of their raised children and employment years.
There are around 44 thousand citizens whose pension plan started between 1991-1994 and some 21.2 thousand of them are receiving their pension benefits from Social Insurance Fund. And 14.4 of them or 68 percent went on pension on the condition of raising many children and 3.8 thousand people or 18 percent went on pension after qualifying the required employment years.
Taking the lower amount of pension allotted for the number of their working years into consideration, the government thus increased pension of 21.2 thousand people.
