Naadam Festival: Racing events of Stallion and Ikh Nas horses held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the stallions’ race of Naadam celebration held today at the Khui 7 Khudag Valley, horse trainer from Bayan soum of Tuv aimag B.Nyamjav’s stallion won the race where 104 stallions participated in. Horse trainer from Khujirt soum, Uvurkhangai aimag P.Batsaikhan’s stallion returned second, while Arkhangai aimag’s horse trainer D.Lkhagvasuren’s stallion finished the race in third place. As for the fourth place, Khanbogd soum, Umnugobi aimag’s horse trainer N.Amarbayasgalan’s stallion galloped through the finish line for a place in this year's stallions' race of Naadam.
The same day, the race of horses above five-year-old horse (Ikh nas) took place at the Khui Doloon Khudag with more than 210 horses competed against each other. Horse trained by horse trainer S.Bayarsaikhan from Zavkhan aimag ran the first in the race while the next four places were taken by horses trained by trainers Ts.Munkhhuyag from Zavkhan aimag, G.Chinzorig from Dundgobi aimag, T.Galbadrakh from Zavkhan aimag and B.Erdenebayar from Khovd aimag.
