Prime Minister visits University of Internal Affairs

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On October 27, Prime Minister of Mongolia worked at the Law Enforcement University, also known as the University of Internal Affairs under the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs to become acquainted with the operations and activities of the university. 


The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs Kh.Nyambaatar, Deputy Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs S.Baatarjav, advisor to Prime Minister Ts.Nyamdorj. Heads of the University of Internal Affairs introduced about the project on development of the university’s town. 

 

Comprised of 11 faculties and affiliated schools, such as Research Institute, Academy of Management, Police School, Border Office School, Emergency Management School, Foreign Language School, Officers’ School, School of Law and Social Studies and High School, the University of Internal Affairs offers 50 types of courses for Bachelor, Master and doctoral degree and specialized courses and annually, 5,000 students graduate from the university. 


The University is seeking to expand and develop within the framework of the government-approved national program for ‘Development of Research-based University’. Furthermore, preparations are underway to establish new units at the university, for instance, Science and Technological Park, Investigator School, Special Forces School, Unit for Fire extinguishing, Sports training facility, domestic military unit etc.
