Standing committee approves appointing B.Delgermaa Ambassador to Russia
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Parlaimentary Standing committee on security and foreign policy held a meeting December 16 to review two issues. The first one--on State military policy of Mongolia--was discussed behind closed doors. The next issue was recalling of incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Mr Sh.Altangerel.
The President's proposal on appointing Ms B.Delgermaa the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Russia was backed by majority of the gathered.
Delgermaa Banzragch was a member of parliament in 1996-2000, adviser to the PM in 2004-2006, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore in 2012-2015, and, to date, she has been serving as senior adviser to the Premier.
