Turkish days to cover wide range of activities
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Turkish Cultural Days are to be organized for the third time on April 22-29 in Ulaanbaatar, in order to promote Friendly Ulaanbaatar programme and advertising Turkish culture.
Planned for these days are, a Turkish film event every 7.00 pm between April 23 and 29 at Tengis Cinema, “Classic Friday” piano and opera concert on April 29 at the Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
On Monday, April 25, a photographic exhibition will open at the Art Gallery of the Union of Mongolian Artists, followed by a ceremonial reception at the Turkish embassy to introduce Turkish cuisine.
Children’s Day is observed in Turkey every April 23. On this occasion, the Turkish embassy will have meeting with the children from “Onor bul” orphanage.
On April 24, a film event will be dedicated to the memory of the Battle of Dardanelles Strait. The Ambassador Murat Karagoz will give lecture at the Mongolian State University (aka National University of Mongolia) on April 25.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of establishment of Turkish Embassy in Ulaanbaatar.
