National anti-corruption forum to take place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On January 10, Kh.Enkhjargal, Head of Anti-Corruption Agency received Tan Sri Kassim Bin Mohamed, Board Member of the Academic Advisory Board of International Anti-Corruption Academy, who has arrived in Mongolia to attend the “National Forum on Anti-Corruption”, which will be held on January 11 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Mongolia.

At the meeting, Mr. Kh.Enkhjargal informed about the activities of the Anti-Corruption Agency, which aims to promote all types of public participation and control for the effective implementation of “National Program on Anti-Corruption”, which was approved by parliament in 2016. 

After conveying greetings from Martin Kreutner, Director of the International Anti-Corruption Academy, Mr. Tan Sri Kassim Bin Mohamed expressed his willingness to give support for the realization of the Mongolian national anti-corruption strategy and the International Anti-Corruption Academy is ready to provide technical assistance and organize training in favor of the productive execution of the national program.

The dignitaries shared each of their experiences on issues of creating a monitoring system of public participation in order to combat corruption and overcome political challenges and agreed to co-organize special trainings for the officials and staff of the Anti-Corruption Agency within the framework of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Agency.
