Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The General Office of Labor and Welfare Service has reported that in the first seven months of this year, pensions and allowances worth of MNT 88.8 billion were granted to 219.0 thousand people from the Social Welfare Fund (SWF). It shows an increase of pension receivers by 10.4 thousand or 5.0%, and amount of pensions and allowances--by MNT 3.8 billion or 4.5% against the previous year.
In the first seven months of this year, 363.7 thousand people received social welfare services and mitigations, of which most people or 71.0% received social welfare incentives and conditioned cash benefits. In reference period MNT 145.4 billion were granted to 1055.1 thousand children aged below 18 as Children’s cash allowances.
