Mongolian-owned stallion named Mongolian Saturday based at Arlington Park in Chicago confirmed his affinity for Keeneland by winning the Grade 3, $150,000 Woodford Stakes on Saturday, his first win since taking the 2015 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint on the same course.
A project on Gobi bear protection
A protocol has been signed with China on feasibility study for the Project on Conservation of Endangered Mazaalai species of Mongolia. This project will greatly contribute to saving the species of Gobi Bear, which has a population of only 28, said the Vice Minister of Environment and Tourism Mr Ts.Batbayar.
Sambist grabs Gold in men’s 52 kg
Mongolian sambist G.Munkhbat won the gold medal in men’s 52 kg weight category at the Sambo World Championship among youths, being held in Ploiești of Romania.
B.Tuul grabbed a silver medal in women’s 40 kg category and other three athletes became bronze medalists.
Sea-world show for the first time in Mongolia
The Russian travelling circus "Moskovskii Delfinarii" will debut its first ever in Mongolia performance - the sea-world shows on Wednesday at the National Amusement Park of Ulaanbaatar. Dolphins and seals will entertain the Mongolian audience.
