Danshig Naadam still on, with change of venue

The capital city authority revoked its previous decision to call off ‘Danshig Naadam – Khuree Tsam’ festival.
Instead, the venue of the festival has been changed to central Stadium, the authority said.
On July 24, the capital city Emergency Commission meeting resolved to cancel the religious & cultural event due to timely issues. However, the decision has been revoked
with due consideration of the Danshig Naadam’s popularity as a major tourism product in Ulaanbaatar area and the fact that a number of tourists have already made orders to see the festival this year,
As such, the 2017 Danshig Naadam will take place at the central Stadium on August 5th
and 6th without a horse race.
