Cold weather to return on February 8

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Light snow is expected in eastern parts of central aimags and in some areas of eastern aimags on February 6.
Snow and blizzard will occur in northern parts of western and central aimags on February 7, in most areas of western, central and eastern aimags and in northern parts of gobi aimags on February 8 and in most areas of central, eastern and gobi aimags on February 9.
The wind will reach 12-14m/sec in gobi aimags on February 6 and in some areas of western and central aimags on February 7. It will get stronger temporarily, reaching 16-18m/sec in most of the country on February 8-9.
In the depression of Uvs Lake, in the head area of Zavkhan river and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers nighttime temperature will be -38-43 degrees Celsuis, and the daytime -25-30.
The nighttime temperature will be -27-32 Celsuis, the daytime temperature -23-28 Celsuis in the depression of Darkhad and in the basins of Khuren belchir, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Ulz and Khalk rivers.
In southern parts of gobi region, the nighttime temperature will be -14-19 degrees Celsuis, and the daytime, -3-8.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -20-25 degrees Celsuis, and the daytime, -7-12.
On February 8, temperature will drop again in northern parts of the country and cold spell will further continue in most of the countries.
