Academy Awards – 2018 names best films and artists

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Annual film awards ceremony ‘Academy Awards’ took place at Zaisan Hill on September 28.
This year, the winners were selected through 19 categories such as motion-picture, short film and, documentary. Directed by O.Bat-Ulzii and B.Tamir, the film 'Baitag Bogd' or 'Mash Nuuts 2' (Top Secret 2) has swept the Academy Awards, winning a total of eight awards such as ‘Best of the Best Film’, ‘Best Director’, ‘Best Cameraman’, ‘Best Supporting Actor, ‘Best Supporting Actress’, ‘Best Song’, ‘Best Sound Editing’ and ‘Best Make-Up’.
Eight-year old child actress Ts.Michidmaa won the Best Actress award for her role in film ‘Az jargal’ (Happiness). With this, she became the youngest actress who received the award. Whereas, the Best Actor award went to S.Bold-Erdene for his role in Khoyor Ami (Two Lives).
