UN Resident Coordinator visits Uvs aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Mongolia Tapan Mishra was warmly welcomed by Uvs Governor Mr. Ch. Chimed, who had shared with the UN delegation the long-term development vision for the aimag and other development priorities including the current challenges they face in the midst of the COVID-9 pandemic.
He highlighted the programme to support household-based production which aims to increase household incomes and improve livelihoods.
Uvs aimag has a great potential to develop agriculture and animal husbandry and leverage the potential of natural and cultural heritages in the aimag for the development of eco and cultural tourism.
