Foreign Minister receives Indian Minister of State for External Affairs

November 24, Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg held a meeting with Minister
of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India Rajkumar Ranjan Singh,
who is paying a working visit to Mongolia.
Minister B.Battsetseg mentioned that Mongolia-India strategic partnership has grown in recent years and expressed her pleasure with the deepening of cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and the realization of plans discussed with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar during an international meeting in Nur Sultan, particularly the prompt mutual acceptance of Covid-19 vaccination certificates.

Ranjan Singh affirmed his willingness to further strengthen the strategic partnership
between Mongolia and India and expand bilateral relations and cooperation in politics,
security, trade, economy, science, technology, education, culture and other
sectors. The sides discussed the progress in the oil refinery project and export of some mining commodities including coking coal to India.
The Mongolian side expressed
hope that Mr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh will help expand bilateral cooperation in
education as he is a Minister of State responsible for education besides
external affairs. At the end of the meeting, Minister B.Battsetseg affirmed that Mongolian side is committed to continuing close cooperation with India at international
and regional levels.
