Mongolia and the Czech Republic to Cooperate in Occupational Safety and Health Research

Ulaanbaatar, March 14, 2025 /MONTSAME/. During the State Visit of the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to the Czech Republic, Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of Mongolia Enkh-Amgalan Luvsantseren held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic Marian Jurečka.
One of the four main objectives of the Action Program of the Government of Mongolia for 2024-2028 is the “Human Development Policy.”
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on enhancing the family-centered social protection policy system, implementing active labor market policies, and utilizing big data-driven digital transformation for policymaking, planning, and decision-making. Furthermore, the two parties discussed cooperation in the fields of labor and social protection, as well as occupational safety and health research.
The meeting addressed the social protection of more than 14,000 Mongolian citizens currently living and working in the Czech Republic and focused on improving the implementation of the “Social Protection Agreement,” which has been in effect since 2023.
Additionally, both sides exchanged views on establishing a cooperation mechanism to provide financial support to Mongolian citizens who have acquired technological skills in the Czech Republic upon their return to Mongolia. The Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of Mongolia reported that they agreed to work toward expanding cooperation in these areas.
