Mongolia Economic Forum Commences

Ulaanbaatar, July 8, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolia Economic Forum began today, on July 8, 2024, at the State Palace of Mongolia. The 14th Forum is being held under the theme “Go Mongolia” and will continue for two days.


The Forum began with the plenary session “Regional Development Policy”. The sub-sessions will begin in the afternoon with “Green Energy-Energy Transition.” In this year’s Forum, sub-sessions will be held on “Rural Development and Cooperatives, Intensive Herding”, “Transportation Infrastructure and Supply Chain”, “Challenges and Opportunities in Tourism”, “Urban Development, Smart City”, “Mining Critical Minerals-Current Situation”, “Commercial Dispute Resolution: Mediation”, “Digital Governance and Digital Economy-Progress so far”, “Capital and Financial Markets, Investment Opportunities”, “Developing Climate Finance Project Pipelines”, “National Wealth Fund, International Leading Experience”, “Risk Management- Lessons Learnt”, “Free Trade Agreement and Economic Corridor.”


Held annually since 2010, the Mongolia Economic Forum has become a traditional platform for discussions among public and private sectors, and foreign and domestic representatives from business and economic sectors. Around 2000 guests and officials are attending the 14th “Mongolia Economic Forum”, including leading economists from the Asian Development Bank and other renowned international guests making presentations.
