National opera watched by more than 9,000 spectators
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ “Three Dramatic Characters” (also known as “Three telling hills”) national classic opera was once again staged at the central square of Ulaanbaatar on July 10, in dedication of the 2225th anniversary of the State, 810th anniversary of Great Mongol Empire and the 95th anniversary of the People’s Revolution. The opera was written by B.Damdinsuren and directed by B.Smirnov.
The Three Dramatic Characters was performed by over 300 artists, comprising of singers, actors, dancers and musicians.
Number of seats for watching the opera went up to 9,000 from last year’s 5,000. An unknown number of people have also watched the opera, along with some participants to the ASEM events.
