Population livelihood in July
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Comparing to the minimum livelihood level, the size of monthly fiscal income per capita was 55.8% at a national level in July of this year.
It was higher by 77.7% in central region, by 60.3%--in Ulaanbaatar city, by 55.4%--in eastern region, and by 39.3%--in western and Khangai regions.
Gini coefficient which describes a measurement of inequality in consumption was 0.320 at a national level in the first quarter of 2016. It was 0.327 in western region and 0.335 in eastern region, which are higher by 0.007-0.015 than the national average. It was 0.303 in Khangai region, 0.317 in Ulaanbaatar city, and 0.318 in central region, which are lower by 0.002-0.017 than the national average.
Theil index which measures economic inequality and other economic phenomena was 0.176 in the second quarter of this year at a national level, showing a decline of 0.009 units against the previous year.
