President meets Deputy National Security Advisor of India

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia and the
Head of the National Security Council U.Khurelsukh received Deputy
National Security Advisor of the Republic of India Vikram Misri.
At the outset of the meeting, President U.Khurelsukh
expressed his commitment to deepen friendly relations and cooperation with
India, Mongolia’s strategic partner and spiritual neighbor, elevating strategical
partnership to a new level.
Noting that the special attention being paid to the project on establishing an oil refinery - a symbol of cooperation between the two countries, U.Khurelsukh emphasized the importance of commissioning the plant on time.
Conveying greetings from the President and Prime Minister of
the Republic of India, Deputy Advisor Vikram Misri noted that during the
regular consultative meeting of the Secretariat of the National Security
Council of the two countries, the discussion was held on topics such as areas
of cooperation, relevant projects and programs to be co-implemented in the
field of space and telecommunications.
He added that the Government of India is paying close
attention to the oil refinery project being co-implemented by the two
countries. Expressing his appreciation to the President of Mongolia for attaching
great importance to the project, Vikram Misri said that Secretariat of the
National Security Council will pay special attention to the project progress
and monitor its implementation.
The President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh conveyed his warm
greetings to the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of India and
expressed confidence that the visit would be fruitful.
