Ulaanbaatar, October 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The exhibition commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Mongolian photography sector and a book opening were held at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum.

The “Colors of Three Eras” special exhibition, organized by the United Association of Mongolian Photographers, showcases works that present three major periods of Mongolian photography taken by Mongolia’s pioneering photographers, including M. Gombojav, N. Choijinnyam, and Ts. Dagdandorj.

In addition, old cameras, film, and other equipment were exhibited from the personal collection of Chadraabal Baramsai, photographer at MONTSAME National News Agency.

The exhibition presents more than 100 photographs covering various themes like society, arts, sports, artistic photography, documentary, history, and nature, that capture special moments, including Mongolia’s first Olympic medal, flight to space, rare portraits of statesmen and public figures Zorig Sanjaasuren and Dashbalbar Ochirbat, as well as special visits by the King of Bhutan and the Roman Pope.

Furthermore, the book “Mongolian Photographers-2” was published in line with the anniversary. The book includes biographies of photographers who have worked in the field from 1935 to 2025, along with their significant milestones.
