Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Opening ceremony of an official sports channel of the Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB) titled 'MNB Sport HD’ was held at the Central Sports Palace on March 5.
Witnessing the event, Prime Minister of Mongolia and head of the National Committee for the Olympic Games preparation U.Khurelsukh, Director of the Mongolian National Public Radio and Television L.Ninjjamts, Chairman of the National Council of the Mongolian National Broadcaster B.Enkhmandakh delivered opening speeches.
‘MNB Sport HD’ channel will prepare news about national and international sports events and entertainment programs. The main objectives of the channel are to raise awareness of physical culture among people, organize aesthetic and physical trainings and broadcast continental and World Championships, Olympic Games and other domestic sports tournaments live or prerecorded video.
MNB Sport channel is preparing to broadcast the FIFA 2018 WORLD CUP, the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games and other big international tournaments.
