Two public holidays to be observed in November

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In accordance with the law on
National Public Holidays, Mongolia observes two public holidays in
November.
According to the law, birth anniversary of Chinggis Khaan is marked on the first day of first month of winter based on the lunar calendar. This year, the birthday of Chinggis Khaan falls on Friday, November 5.
Another public holiday -- The Proclamation of the Mongolian People’s Republic or the anniversary of the adoption of the first Constitution of Mongolia is marked on November 26 every year. November 26 was made a public holiday on November 18, 2016 in accordance with the parliamentary resolution.
