Dohwa Engineering Wins Bid for Consultative Services for Metro in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar, June 12, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Companies from Russia, China, South Korea, and India sent their documents for the second stage of bidding for the consultative services for the construction of a metro system in Ulaanbaatar.
Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia Nyambaatar Khishgee informed that of the four companies that submitted their request, “Dohwa Engineering” from South Korea won the bid. The construction work for the metro will begin in 2025.
Main negotiations with "Dohwa Engineering" will start if no complaints come from other bidders within five days, followed by geological surveys, and EPC tender document formulation. The Company offered its services for MNT 145.9 billion.
“Dohwa Engineering” has experience in building metros in countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America and participated in the tender for the metro construction in Ulaanbaatar partnering with four companies.
