Mongolia and Brazil agree to exchange football and judo coaches

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 5th consultative meeting between Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and the Federative Republic of Brazil was successfully held in Ulaanbaatar on September 7.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current state of politics, society and economy in Mongolia and Brazil and on mutually interested regional and international matters and discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation, immediate objectives and prospect. Specifically, the Brazilian side expressed its possibility to establish technical cooperation agreement in the near future to realize projects and programs in agriculture.
In the frames of the Memorandum of Cooperation in education and sports sector, the parties agreed to take specific actions, including training diplomats specialized in Latin America, educating Mongolian students in master and doctoral degrees at universities in Brazil, reciprocally exchanging football and judo coaches as well as having mutual athletes participate in international level tournaments being hosted in the two countries.
Citizens of the two countries started traveling without visa since 2015. The parties noted the opportunity to make tourists from Brazil travel to Mongolia in consideration of increasing number of Brazilian traveling to China in recent years, and to co-organize a business meeting between public and private organizations of tourism of the two countries.
Mongolia and the Federative Republic of Brazil established diplomatic relations on June 18, 1987 and the countries have opportunities to develop cooperation in agriculture, mining and production of ethanol biofuel.
