VideoMongolian calligraphy exhibition
“The Script of Eternal Sky” traditional international exhibition will be opened at the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery on Friday. This event is organized upon initiative of the President of Mongolia on the occasion of the 854th birth anniversary of Great Chinggis Khaan and the National Pride Day.
The upcoming exhibition will display calligraphies by more than 40 artists and representatives from 5 countries.
Young Mongolian chess players on the world arena
Mongolian young chess player D.Onorzul is ranked 3rd in the U8 girls’ standard contest of the FIDE World Cadets Championship after six rounds. Another young player E.Togstomor took the 4th place in the U10 boys’ standard contest and G.Amartuvshin –5th place in the U 12 boys’ standard contest. This year's "Cadets" is underway in Batumi, Georgia. Mongolia is being represented at the tournament by 18 players.
