Revenue of hotel industry decreases by 18.1 percent

In the first half of this year, the hotel industry revenue reached MNT 62.7
billion, showing a decline of MNT 13.9 billion or 18.1 percent, compared to the
same period of the previous year.
The
revenue of three-star and more star hotels decreased by MNT 7.5 billion (14.8
percent), unrated hotels by MNT 5.1 billion (21.4 percent) and two-star hotels
by MNT 1.3 billion (59.8 percent), reports
the National Statistics Office.
Of
the total revenue in the hotel industry, three or more stars hotels accounted
for 68.5 percent, unrated hotels --30.1 percent and two-star hotel -- 1.4
percent.
