76 million pieces of securities traded at national stock market in the first two months of this year

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. In the first two months of 2022, 76.0
million pieces of securities worth MNT81.5 trillion were traded at the national
stock market, increased by MNT39.6 (94.6 percent) while it is decreased 101.8
million pieces of securities (57.2 percent) compared to the same period of the
previous year.
In February 2022, total sales of stocks reached MNT43.8
billion, increased by MNT6.2 billion (16.3 percent) from the previous month and
increased by MNT12.6 (40.3 percent) billion from the same period of the
previous year. The number of pieces of traded securities reached 40.7 million,
increased by 5.3 million pieces (15.1 percent) from the previous month while it
is decreased by 76.4 million pieces (65.2 percent) from the same period of the
previous year.
In February 2022, the average of indices of the top 20
financial markets was 40504.2 units, decreased by 1943.5 units from the
previous month while it is increased by 14627.3 units from the same period of
2021.
In February 2022, the total value of joint-stock companies
operating at stock markets reached MNT 5.5 trillion, decreased by MNT 287.8
billion (5.0 percent) from the previous month while it is increased by MNT 2.0
trillion (55.5 percent) from the same period of the previous year.
