Newly appointed Ambassadors present copies of credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 25, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia Alenka Suhadolnik met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin and presented a copy of her Letter of Credence.
Commending the entry-into-force of the Agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and Slovenia on International Road Transportation this year, the Deputy Minister expressed hope that next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and that they will work together and expand cooperation.
The Ambassador pledged her commitment to intensify the bilateral friendly relations and cooperation, as well as increase trade turnover between the two countries.
On April 25, Deputy Foreign Minister B.Munkhjin accepted the
copy of credentials presented by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Mongolia Mahbub Uz Zaman.
During the meeting following the presentation, the Deputy Minister noted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Bangladesh, emphasizing that Mongolia is committed to strengthening political relations with Bangladesh in the framework of expanding cooperation with countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
In turn, the Ambassador expressed special emphasis on expanding Mongolia-Bangladesh relations and cooperation, promoting cooperation in trade, economy, culture, and tourism, and strengthening ties and cooperation between business organizations.
On April 25, Deputy Foreign Minister B.Munkhjin received Non-resident
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to
Mongolia Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos and accepted the Ambassador’s copy
of credentials.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed his support for the development of friendly relations between Mongolia and the Dominican Republic, as well as cooperation in trade, economy, and tourism.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed delight with his
appointment and said he would work actively towards developing bilateral
relations and cooperation in all possible fields.
