International Runners from Four Countries to Compete in the Upcoming “Ulaanbaatar Marathon”

Ulaanbaatar, April 16, 2025/MONTSAME/. The Annual “Ulaanbaatar Marathon” International Marathon will take place on May 24, 2025, in Ulaanbaatar.
Registration for the event will be open from April 1, 2025, to May 20, 2025. Individuals, organizations, and foreigners wishing to participate in the “Ulaanbaatar Marathon” can register online via the link https://ulaanbaatar.marathon.mn/ or through the “Hipay” mobile application. The race categories are the same as in previous years, ranging from 500 meters to 42 kilometers. Registration fees for each distance are as follows: MNT 5000 for 1.5 km, MNT 10,000 for 5.0 km, MNT 50,000 for 10 km, MNT 70,000 for 21 km, MNT 90,000 for 42 km. Runners completing the 5 km race will pick up their competition numbers from the Department of Physical Education and Sports. Participants registered for the 1.5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km events will receive their bib numbers from the State Committee of Physical Education and Sports. The Mongolian Special Olympic Committee will be responsible for managing the 500 m and 800 m marathons.
Professional runners from Kenya, Japan, Russia, and Germany will participate in the Ulaanbaatar Marathon 2025, and there have been minor adjustments to the running routes. Last year, over 30,000 domestic and international runners competed in the Ulaanbaatar Marathon.
Mongolia has been organizing the “Ulaanbaatar Marathon” International Marathon since 2014, with the aim of promoting the sport of running among Mongolians and encouraging Mongolian youth to improve their physical and mental health.
