Slight temperature rise expected in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. While snow is expected in the western region today, temperature is expected to slightly rise in most parts of the country, reports the National Agency of Meteorology and Environment.
Precipitation is expected in some parts of Gobi and eastern aimags on October 15, in the northern parts of western and central aimags on October 16, in some parts of central and eastern aimags on October 17, and in the eastern parts of eastern aimags on October 18.
Wind speed will temporarily reach 15-17 m/sec in the Gobi and plains on October 18.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider, Tes, Tuul, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from -11 to -16 degrees Celsius during the night, and -1 to +4 during the day.
In the southern parts of the Gobi region, the temperature will be -2 to +3 during the night, and +10 to +15 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -4 to -9 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +4 to +9 degrees Celsius.
