Purevsuren FM heads to Norway
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr L.Purevsuren has flown to Norway to pay an official visit.
After this visit he will attend events of the 20th anniversary of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) expected September 15-16 in Stockholm of Sweden.
In Norway, Mr Purevsuren will pay a courtesy call on Ms Marit Nybakk, the First Deputy Speaker of this country, will meet with his colleague Mr Borge Brende and with a Deputy Minister of Finance Mr Paal Bjornstad.
This visit is supposed to forward issues concurred during mutual high-level visits and to boost the bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, education, culture, energy and other spheres.
Chairing the IDEA Council for 2016, Mongolia will take part in the 9th irregular meeting of the Council and in the 20th anniversary of the IDEA at the Foreign Ministerial level. This participation will affirm Mongolia's contribution to strengthening of the development and will broaden a chance to collaborate with other countries.
