Minister of Population Development meets UNICEF and WV Permanent Reps
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Population Development and Social Welfare S.Erdene Tuesday received Mr Vince Edwards, the Country-Director of the World Vision international organization, and Mr Mitsuaki Toyoda, the Permanent Representative of the UNICEF to Mongolia.
The parties exchanged views about our parliament's discussing a draft new version of the law on children’s rights and a bill on children’s protection. After this the guests gave the Minister proposals on vital issues that must be reflected in these drafts. "These suggestions have been based on many countries' experience in the children’s rights," they added.
