Former FM L.Bold awarded state prize of Poland
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A former Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold has been awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
The Order, given him for significant contributions to expanding the Mongolia-Poland cooperation in the defense and economic spheres, was bestowed upon Mr Bold by the Ambassador of Poland to Mongolia Tuesday.
Created in 1974, the Polish Order of Merit of the Republic is an order awarded to those who have rendered great service to the Polish nation. It is granted to foreigners or Poles resident abroad and as such is a traditional 'diplomatic order'.
