In Ulaanbaatar:
May 20: There will be a meeting of parties and groups of the State Great Khural.
May 20: The Unveiling Ceremony for the Postage Stamp issued for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
May 20: Under the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the modern museum in Mongolia, an Academic Conference on "100 Years of the Mongolian Museum" will be held at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia.
May 20, 21: Standing Committee sessions of the State Great Khural will be held at the State Palace of Mongolia.
May 21: The regular meeting of the Cabinet will be held at the State Palace.
May 21: There will be an International Academic Conference on “Mongolian Child Development Research 2024” at the National University of Mongolia.
May 21, 22: There will be a regular hearing of the Temporary Review Committee, which is responsible for inspecting the purchase of buses in 2023 in accordance with the requirements to increase the quality and availability of public transportation in the capital city, renew the parking facilities, and present the inspection report, suggestions, and conclusions to the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
May 23, 24: A Plenary Session of the State Great Khural of Mongolia will be held at the State Palace.
May 24-26: The "Ulaanbaatar Travel Expo - 2024" Tourism Exhibition will be held for the 10th time at the "Misheel Expo" International Exhibition Hall.
May 24-27: The Tenger International Shaman Festival will be organized at the Khui Doloon Khudag, the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar.
May 25: The State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre of Mongolia will stage the first Mongolian Opera titled “Uchirtai Gurvan Tolgoi” [Three Dramatic Characters].
As part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the modern forest industry in Mongolia, “National Tree Planting Days" will continue throughout May.
Local Events:
May 21: The Center of Selenge aimag, Mongolia, will host a job fair.
May 25, 26: In Sukhbaatar, Selenge aimag, the historical site known as Han Valley will host the 2024 Youth Mountain Bike Race.
The Union of Mongolian Artists is displaying an exhibition titled “Spring” in Khovd aimag, Mongolia.
In Sukhbaatar soum of Selenge aimag, public tree planting days will continue.
Abroad:
There is a joint exhibition of Mongolian and German artists titled "Wolkensammler" being held at the F200 exhibition hall of Friedrichstraße-200 in Berlin, Germany.
