Mongolian Contortionists Score the "Golden Clown" Trophy in Monte Carlo

Ulaanbaatar, January 23, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian circus performers have successfully participated in the 47th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival known as the “Olympics of Circus,” held annually in Monte-Carlo, the Principality of Monaco.
The acrobatic team led by N. Erdene earned a bronze trophy in the adult category. Meanwhile, the "X Roses" contortionist group, under the leadership of T. Bud, secured first place in the "New Generation" category, winning the prestigious "Golden Clown" trophy.
The 2025 Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival featured the Adult competition for the 47th time and the New Generation competition for the 12th, bringing together around 240 talented circus artists from 20 countries. The Mongolian performers, who won the prestigious "Golden Clown" and bronze trophies, are set to return to Mongolia on January 28, 2025.
