“Khasyn Khuleguud” Team Advances to the Semifinals of the Basketball Champions League Asia 2025

Ulaanbaatar, June 12, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The final stage of the Basketball Champions League Asia 2025 is ongoing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Representing Mongolia in the Champions League is “Khasyn Khuleguud,” nine-time champions of "the League," who have now advanced to the semifinals. In the group stage, the Mongolian champions defeated the Chinese champions “Zhejiang Guangsha Lions” but were defeated by the Iranian champions “Tabiat Basketball.”
Nevertheless, based on their performance in the group stage, they qualified for the quarterfinals, where “Khasyn Khuleguud” overcame the Philippine league champions “Meralco Bolts” with a score of 83:78. As a result, they are now set to face the Japanese B1 League champions “Utsunomiya Brex” in the semifinals.
The match will take place on June 12, 2025, at 21:00 (GMT +8) at the “Coca-Cola Arena” in Abu Dhabi. If victorious, they will compete for the championship title; in the event of a loss, they will compete for the bronze medal. The medalists of the Basketball Champions League Asia 2025 will be determined on June 13, 2025.
