Mongolian Students Win Five Medals at 55th International Physics Olympiad

Ulaanbaatar, July 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 55th International Physics Olympiad concluded in Paris, the capital of the French Republic.


Mongolian students earned two silver and three bronze medals at the competition. G. Batbayar, a 12th-grade student of the Secondary School affiliated with the National University of Mongolia, and E. Ichinbat, an 11th-grade student at the same school, won silver medals. Meanwhile, M. Munkh-Orgil, an 11th-grade student of the 1st Secondary School; G. Azjargal, a 12th-grade student from “Sant” School; and D. Enkhtugs, an 11th-grade student at “Absolute-Elite” School, each received a bronze medal.


The Olympiad brought together top young physicists from around the world and tested their theoretical and experimental knowledge at the highest level, helping participants enhance their analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.


At the previous edition of the Olympiad held in Isfahan, The Islamic Republic of Iran, Mongolian students had won one silver and four bronze medals. This year, they improved upon that achievement.
