Academic year opening delayed for universities

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports issued directions on the start of new academic year of 2017-2018.
Pre-school education institutions and schools will start on September 1, Friday with the opening lesson on Mongolian language.
Meanwhile, following a request from Ulaanbaatar Mayor S.Batbold, the Ministry has decided to put off the opening of academic year in universities, higher education institutions and vocational training centers until September 4, Monday. The Mayor had made the request to reduce traffic jam on September 1.
