/MONTSAME/. At the meeting of the Governor’s Council of the Capital City
today, members of the Council agreed to establish an issue on establishing the
Capital City Research Institute.
The Capital City Research Institute of the capital city will study and determine the city’s socioeconomic development. Based on the analysis of the study, the capital city will become possible to determine its independent economic form. The Institute will be in charge of providing the city authorities with study analysis and assessment, making its contribution to the decision-making process.

city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar said, “A total of 70 percent of GDP is being produced
in Ulaanbaatar where more than 150 thousand entities are registered. Thus, there
is a necessity to have the Research Institute in the capital city. It will be highly
significant for the city’s future economic growth. With proper introduction of
the system, it will become possible to resolve various issues facing
Ulaanbaatar city.”
