Statistics on Master Budget
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first 10 months of 2015, total revenue and grants of the General Government Budget (GGB) amounted to MNT 4,569.3 billion, a total expenditure and net lending--to MNT 5,484.6 billion, representing a deficit of 915.3 billion in the balance.
In October of 2015, total revenue and grants of the GGB stood at 523.3 billion Togrog, showing a MNT 54.2 billion or 11.6 percent increase against the previous month; total lending and net lending amounted to MNT 571.3 billion increasing MNT 4.0 billion or 0.7 percent against September. However, the balance of GGB had a MNT 48.0 billion deficit showing a decrease of MNT 50.2 billion or 51.1 percent compared to the end of September.
Tax revenue decreased MNT 206.0 billion or 5.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year due to decreases of MNT 282.0 billion or 24.9 percent in value added and of MNT 41.5 billion or 4.9 percent in Income tax, of MNT 36.1 billion or 11.9 percent in taxes on international trade and transactions, although the excise taxes went up MNT 94.5 billion or 24.8 percent and social contribution--by 56.2 billion or 7.2 percent.
In the period reported, total expenditure and net lending of the GGB reached MNT 5,484.6 billion, indicating increase of MNT 355.9 billion or 6.9 percent compared to the same period of 2014, due to increases of MNT 148.2 billion or 7.2 percent in expenditure on goods and services, MNT 122.7 billion or 7.7 percent in current transfers and MNT 114.1 billion or 33.4 percent in interest payments, while subsides decreased by MNT 24.8 billion or 18.3 percent, capital expenditure--by 19.2 billion or 2.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
