“New work-People-6” documentary photo exhibition opens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ “New work-People-6” annual documentary photo exhibition organized by Ts.Batzorig Foundation is displaying selected 47 photos of 40 photographers, out of 700 photos applied by 80 photographers. The exhibition opened yesterday, April 26 at Gamma Gallery in Hunnu Mall and announced its best photographers. Winner of an award of public appreciation was selected during the opening ceremony with evaluation by the viewers and photojournalist of “Daily News” newspaper Ts.Myagmarsuren won the award with his work “Children of Roses”.

The foundation organizes the exhibition to support photographers of newspapers, journals and magazines, freelancers and beginners, who work in documentary photography, to promote their works and develop documentary photography.
This year the foundation and the family of late Ts.Batzorig, a well-known photographer initiated a new grant to support young photographers and the first grant went to three photographers.
The documentary photo exhibition will run till April 05.
