Ambassador to Sweden meets Director of Swedish National Museums of World Culture

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Sweden T.Janabazar on September 21 had a meeting with Director General of the National Museums of World Culture of Sweden Ann Follin to talk about studying the museums’ exhibits related to Mongolia’s history and culture, showing them to the people of the two countries, and expanding relations and cooperation between Mongolian and Swedish museums.
At the meeting, the Swedish side welcomed the Ambassador’s proposals to publish a catalogue of Mongolian artifacts in Sweden, put on a joint exhibition, exchange specialists between the museums of the two countries, and organize a tour for Mongolian children in Sweden to promote the culture and history of their motherland. Moreover, some of the 1,500 Mongolian artifacts kept at the Museum of Ethnography of Sweden were shown to the Ambassador.
