Buryat Medical Delegation Visits Mongolia for Training

A delegation of doctors and medical specialists from Buryatia, the Russian Federation, arrived in Mongolia to study and gain experience at the First Central Hospital of Mongolia. Director General of the First State Central Hospital B. Khishigjargal, M.D., welcomed the Buryat delegation on June 17, 2024, and wished them success.
The delegation comprises seven doctors and medical specialists in anesthesia, general surgery, abdominal ultrasound, and gastroenterology. Buryatia is starting to perform kidney transplant surgery, and they will be trained for 14 days at the Organ Transplantation Center of the First State Central Hospital.
This marks the second time the First Central Hospital of Mongolia welcomed international doctors and medical specialists for training. In April of this year, doctors from Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, Russia, successfully completed a one-month program at the hospital.
During the visit by Minister of Health of the Republic of Buryatia Ludupova Evgenia Yurievna to Mongolia in February 2024, the parties agreed to cooperate.
