Morin Khuur Ensemble appointed as Cultural Envoy of Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On October 1, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin presented a Certificate of Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to the Morin Khuur Ensemble during an event for the 30th anniversary of the Morin Khuur Ensemble.
The Morin Khuur Ensemble was first established in 1992, and over the past 30 years, it has given many wonderful performances on the stage of UNESCO and in other prestigious theaters of more than 30 countries, including Japan, China, the United States, France, Italy, and Russia etc. The Morin Khuur Ensemble has made an important contribution to the promotion of the country abroad along with creating, preserving, developing and disseminating the national heritage.
