Czech Visa Application Centre to open in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 25, the first consular consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and the Czech Republic was held in Ulaanbaatar.
The Mongolian side was led by D.Davaasuren, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Czech side by Martin Smolek, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting addressed bilateral consular relations, simplification of mutual visits and social insurance and visa issues for workers. The Czech side informed about the upcoming opening of Czech Visa Application centre in Ulaanbaatar.
The sides also reached consensus on an agreement of cooperation in social protection, and agreed to begin the internal procedures for signing in the near future. With establishment of the agreement, Mongolians working in the Czech Republic can be issued full pensions corresponding to the working years.
