‘Mongolian knuckle-bone shooting’ exhibition opens

At the initiative of the Ministry of Culture, the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Center for Cultural Heritage and the Mongolian Knuckle-bone Shooting Association are jointly organizing an exhibition titled ‘Mongolian Knuckle-bone Shooting’ at the Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum.
The
exhibition is being organized within the framework of the purpose of inheriting
and disseminating the intangible cultural heritage of ‘Mongolian
Knuckle-bone shooting’, which was inscribed on the ‘UNESCO Representative List
of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’.
The
exhibition features books and pamphlets on Mongolian knuckle-bone shooting, items badges,
hats, competition medals, which have been passed
down from elders to young generation and rare exhibits.
The exhibition is open until April 28.
